Considering Wildwood, New Jersey’s music history, and claim to be the East Coast’s birthplace of Rock & Roll, the city’s image as a live music center has diminished over the years. With this in mind, Michael Morpurgo, had an idea to revitalize free and live music on the boardwalk and the establishment of The Isle of Wild Music Festival with Jack Morey. With 25 years of music industry experience, Michael Morpurgo played venues around the world before discovering the power of teaching kids to play real, live rock shows. For over a decade, he’s used his music schools to instruct adults and kids on how to rock on stage while experiencing the transformative power of live music. This summer, young musicians, will unleash the power of live Rock & Roll on Adventure Pier.
